Overview of the Year from Students at Royal Hill

From September until July we have had a lot of laughs.  We performed in the Wizard of Oz Christmas Concert as rapping wizards.  We went to Shooter’s Hill, it’s a new school.  Shooter’s Hill is big, it’s nice, we got to go swimming, Andre joined the catering group and some of us got to do ICT.  We all liked going to Shooter’s Hill.

John and Angelique got to go on a school journey to Southampton.  It was pretty good.  John went to the farm and saw a cow.  Angelique went to the farm as well and she saw everything – horses, pigs, goats, sheep, donkeys, ponies and of course a chicken, and last but not least, a turkey!

Two months ago we went to the city of London in Waterloo to look around the place.  We saw Big Ben, Tower Bridge and the London Eye.  We went to MacDonald’s for dessert.  We went back to school for swimming.

Joseph Newton and John took part in the drama with Keith Parks.  They have been to the Globe Theatre to do Shakespeare. 

We have all been working hard on our AQA units in Maths, English, French and Science.  We all got to go up during assembly to get certificates for our hard work.
