Charlton School & The London Regatta Centre

We participate in a rowing program at the London Regatta Centre. This is a link that began three years ago. To row you need good kinaesthetic coordination, this means knowing where your limbs are in relation to your body. Our students practice their rowing on the inside practice tank, and once they are used to the water they set out in groups of three with an adult to steer.

Some of the students rowing has progressed so much that they have moved into light weigh rowing boats. This is an amazing achievement as it requires quite an amount of skill.
