Charlton School allotment at Abbey Wood

Our allotment at Abbey Wood has started producing its first fruit and vegetables.  Students from 6th 1 and 2 have already started picking strawberries and around 20 red onions.  We also have tomatoes, potatoes, butternut squash and onions still to come over summer.  Students have also done lots of hard work weeding, watering and collecting manure for the compost heap.
