Impressive results for rowing students

On the 16th of March 2007 a group of students from both sites took part in the National indoor rowing championships.  The championships included around 800 young people between 11-18 years old from all over England.  Each race included 30 concept rowing machines. The students competed in a special adaptive rowing category and impressively Lawrence competed in his open age group. The students all put in an incredible performance taking away medals and t-shirts for their efforts.

On Sunday the 13th of May some of the same students competed in the Poplar Regatta. This was an international competition and the first time a special school has been included.  The weather was not the best but it didn’t put the students off and they had a great day. The school has been invited to another Regatta in September at Lee Valley Rowing Club.
