Georgina Speaks Out
Before the summer holidays Georgina entered a competition with Media Box and Channel Four. Georgina was one of ten young disadvantaged youngsters given five hundred pounds to make a short documentary during their summer break. From the ten films made Georgina’s has been judged as the winner and will be aired on Channel Four sometime next year. Georgina’s film is about what the summer holidays are like for her and the difficulties she can face when trying to see her friends. It’s five minutes long. Georgina decided to ask Spectrecom Film Production Company to help her make her documentary. Both Georgina and Jim attended an evening film production course offered by Spectrecom this year. Georgina’s wonderful personality and positive nature inspired many into supporting her. Georgina’s relationship with the Spectrecom team meant they were able to assist her in telling her story in a very personal way.
