Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme

About the award

The Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme allocates over £1.5 million to the award each year to secondary schools and colleges.

The award is awarded every month to one student, the student receives a framed certificate and a cheque for £300 (payable to school) to be spent on a school or community project of the recipients choice.

There is also an award for adults to receive, each year (spring term) a nominated member of staff could receive a framed certificate, a medallion and £1,000 (payable to school), and this award is presented at an annual event attended by other adult award winners.

In school the student council on the Charlton site will be choosing the student to be awarded every month, (we have a meeting every Tuesday morning during healthy schools). The student council have asked for nominations to come in every week so they can be awarded with a certificate from student council, (these students will still be put forward for the monthly award).

Who has won the award so far?

You can see the Awards section of the school blog to find out who were the most recent winners.
