School Information

School PCS SymbolCharlton School opened in September 2001. It is a Group 7 Community Special (ages 11–19) School, maintained by the London Borough of Greenwich, for students with low incidence special educational needs. 

The school was established within a borough wide re-organisation of special school provision. Governors have set the school admission at 135 places.

All students at Charlton School have a Statement of Special Educational Needs appropriate for placement in the school.  The London Borough of Greenwich places students with a range of low incidence special needs.
